Partnerships, collaborations, mergers, program integration and shared services are just a few of the terms that are used to describe strategic alliances between nonprofits that are intended to achieve greater impact.  These alliances exist along a broad spectrum of approaches, ranging from less integrated associations and coalitions to more highly integrated joint programming, shared services, and legal mergers.

The Arizona Together for Impact Fund is designed to be catalytic in sparking collaborative initiatives including combined programming, shared services and mergers (Together for Impact does not fund collaboratives, associations, or program partnership initiatives).  In addition to providing confidential, and friendly advice, Together for Impact is happy to provide connections to resources for organizations looking to strengthen their organization through a sustained collaboration.

In addition to local resources, there is an abundance of research, case studies and tools which have been developed nationally to support this work.
